I am an incoming PhD student at Columbia University, Physics Deparment. I am interested in ultracold atoms and molecules, quantum simulation and dipolar many-body quantum systems. I aim to develop new experimental and theoretical techniques to understand new models in quantum statistical mechanics, many-body physics and condensed matter physics in general.
I have received my Bachelor of Science degree in physics in Bilkent University, Turkey. During my undergraduate education I have been involved in diverse fields of physics ranging from molecular communication via diffusion to tests of quantum electrodynamics. My senior year projects were on developing a numerical algorithm for fastening data analysis using artificial neural networks for dark matter searches and numerical analysis and simulations of J-coupling in NMR experiments.
I really enjoy learning and sharing new knowledge and making friends. If you have any inquiries, questions or any desire to chat please reach out to me!
